I really wanted to love this product. I have very fair skin and am constantly looking for the perfect moisturizer with SPF. I bought the cleanser as well. Used the cleanser, and with high hopes I applied the moisturizer. My skin felt tight and sticky. I washed it off, then applied a minuscule amount, same thing. I tried cleaning, then applying a serum, then the moisturizer, same thing. I give up. Have gone back to my favorite, which is now discontinued, and so back to searching.

We completely understand how frustrating it is to search for that perfect moisturizer with SPF, especially when you have fair skin with specific needs. The tight, sticky feeling you experienced is not what we want for anyone, and we are sorry that persisted even when you adjusted the amount and tried different application methods.
One thing we'd love to share in case it helps: OS-01 FACE SPF BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 30+ PA+++ is a 100% mineral sunscreen, and because the zinc oxide in the formula creates a physical barrier on the skin, it is designed to be applied as the very last step in your morning routine — after your Prep Facial Cleanser and OS-01 FACE MOISTURIZER and any serums have had a few minutes to fully absorb. If OS-01 FACE SPF BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 30+ PA+++ goes on before other products have settled, that can sometimes contribute to a heavier or stickier feel. We also recommend letting it set for at least 5 minutes before applying anything on top, and dabbing rather than rubbing any additional products over it, since the mineral filters sit on the surface of the skin.
We also want to mention that OS-01 FACE SPF BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 30+ PA+++ now comes in five options — untinted, light, light/medium, medium/deep, and deep. For very fair skin like yours, the untinted or light tint would be the most seamless fit, and if you haven't tried one of those versions yet, it may feel quite different on your skin.
That said, we completely respect that not every formula works for every skin type, and your feedback is genuinely valuable as we continue refining our products. We are also sorry to hear about your favorite moisturizer being discontinued — that search for a replacement is so disheartening!

It’s too soon to really say if moisturizer is good—only a week since package arrived. Not a fan of pump action plastic containers. You can never get the last bits out of them, whereas with jars or tubes one gets full value. But I will review again when product is finished. Tip to company is to send out new review requests after a month or so to get more accurate readings.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this product. The texture of the lotion is smooth, spreads easily without feeling greasy and after just 2-3 weeks of my skin felt noticeably smoother. It’s been my go to for daily SPF coverage for over a year.
