Getting started with OS-01 FACE SPF
Follow these easy steps for optimal results
- Apply approximately ¼ to ½ teaspoon of sunscreen to the face and neck

This glides on easily but even though it is tinted it does not provide any actual coverage. A few minutes after putting it on my skin is greasy looking and every pore is accentuated.

On coverage: OS-01 FACE SPF is intentionally designed to offer sheer to light coverage rather than heavy coverage like a foundation. As we share on our website, tinted sunscreens are designed to blend in and enhance your natural skin, not mask it — so the lighter finish is very much by design. That said, one tip that can help build a little more coverage is to start with a small pea-sized amount, let it set for a few minutes as the tint can deepen slightly after application, and then layer incrementally if more coverage is desired.
On the greasy finish and pores: OS-01 FACE SPF is non-comedogenic and formulated to be lightweight, so we'd love to help troubleshoot this a little further! A couple of things that can make a difference:
• Application order — OS-01 FACE SPF should be applied as the very last step in your morning routine, after your moisturizer has fully absorbed. Applying it over products that haven't fully absorbed can affect how it sits on the skin and contribute to a heavier feel.
• Amount — a pea-sized amount is all that's needed for full face coverage. Using more than the recommended amount can lead to a greasier finish.

I really wanted to love Oneskin SPF because I like the brand's science-backed approach, but the sunscreen was disappointing. The biggest issue is the finish - it leaves a sticky tacky texture that never seems to fully dry down. Overall, I appreciate the ingredients and the company's mission, but the texture is a deal breaker for me.
