Originally from Brazil, Pri moved to the US to pursue a career in modeling, unexpectedly meeting her future husband just three months after moving to the states. 20 years and 3 children later, Pri is now based out of Las Vegas, still working part-time as a model, but now also as a health coach and mom. 01 What does aging mean to you?
"In the modeling world 38 is like youre a grandma! But I’m comfortable saying I’m 38 because I feel good. I think aging is just a number really. As long as you feel good and you’re healthy, it doesn’t matter. You can be unhealthy at 20 and healthy at 60. Health is the priority when it comes to aging."
01 What does aging mean to you?
"In the modeling world 38 is like youre a grandma! But I’m comfortable saying I’m 38 because I feel good. I think aging is just a number really. As long as you feel good and you’re healthy, it doesn’t matter. You can be unhealthy at 20 and healthy at 60. Health is the priority when it comes to aging."
02 What sparked your interest in health and longevity?
"I was always interested in health and I became even more interested since having kids. So I kept buying books on nutrition, life coaching, and food. It was just books and more books! And finally I thought ‘okay I need to go get on an educational program’, so then I went to the Institute of Nutrition, based in New York, and I graduated 5 years ago. Since then I’ve been working with most of my clients online. My husband is a personal trainer, so a lot of his clients come to me. So they train with him for the physical aspect and they come to me for eating and lifestyle advice."
02 What sparked your interest in health and longevity?
"I was always interested in health and I became even more interested since having kids. So I kept buying books on nutrition, life coaching, and food. It was just books and more books! 03 Do you have any health or longevity hacks that have made a big difference in your life?
"Water is number one. Sleep is number two or maybe even number one, but with kids, it can be difficult. Then third is movement. It doesn’t need to be long. I like my 20-30 minutes of movement everyday. That’s a non-negotiable for me. Right now, with a 2 month old, it’s just walking, but before kids I loved yoga and pilates. After the kids, it was my goal to do triathlons. So, as a tradition, a year after having each kid, I complete a triathlon. When you have a goal, it helps you to stay more focused. And triathlons are perfect, because you can swim, bike, and run all year round in Las Vegas."

04 Do you follow any particular diet?
"No. My diet is if you’re hungry you eat. If you’re not hungry you don’t eat. It’s a joke between me and my husband, if I open a bag of cookies, it could last me a week. I could leave one cookie left in the bag and save it for the next week. So, to me, balance and moderation has always come easy and it’s played a huge role in my health throughout my life. After going to school, I learned that balance is actually very important when it comes to health. So, yes we do eat pizza and ice cream, but it’s not a whole pint of ice cream, it's a couple of spoonfuls. That’s what keeps us happy and healthy. "

05 Being a model, was your healthy and positive mindset ever challenged?
"The only thing in my career that upset me was when I went to a casting for a big lingerie company at the peak of my career. I’m normal looking. I’m not runway skinny and they told me I had to lose weight. That was the only part of my career that bummed me out. I was like ‘if that’s what they’re going for, it's not worth it.’"

06 Tell us about your skincare routine.
"I always try to keep my routine minimal with a few good products so it doesn’t overwhelm my skin. That’s why I like OneSkin. I like simple. I'm a very simple person. I don't want a 10 step routine. I want to prioritize my time with other things than spending 30 minutes just to moisturize my skin. I’ve been using OS-01 for 4 weeks and it’s the only thing I’ve been using in the morning and evening after the shower. My skin has been so good!"
