    What is OS-01 and what does it do?

    OS-01 is a topical supplement you apply to your face, neck, and hands after cleansing. It is a proprietary peptide designed to extend your skinspan on a molecular level by improving internal markers of skin health and external markers of skin strength.

    OS-01 reduces your skin's biological age and improves the skin barrier. OS-01 also increases skin strength on the surface level by optimizing the molecular health of your skin, OS-01 improves the external strength of your skin. Feel and look your best with firmer, smoother, and more hydrated skin.

    What is a topical supplement?

    Just like taking vitamins everyday for general health and immunity, our topical supplement delivers OS-01, a proprietary peptide that extends your skin health (aka your skinspan). Unlike other skincare products that offer short-term solutions (and might even cause long-term damage), we target the root causes of aging on the molecular level for long-term results, and by applying it topically we ensure that the benefits are going where they should be.

    How long will my OS-01 supplement last?

    We estimate the 50 ml bottle of our Topical Supplement will last approximately 2 months when used as directed.

    Is your topical supplement safe?

    Yes, OS-01 is completely safe. We’ve applied the same scientific rigor into formulating a safe product as we did for effectiveness. EWG rates ingredients on a scale of 1-10, with a score of 1 being the safest and healthiest. OS-01 received an average score of 1.08 and a weighted average of 1.02. Our supplement was tested for human sensitization (RIPT - a clinical study to assess skin irritation) and various other toxicity tests, and no adverse effects were determined.

    How does your topical supplement compare to retinol?

    Retinol works to target the symptoms of aging (ie. fine lines and wrinkles) by stripping the skin of its cells on its outermost layer in order to make room for younger, healthier cells. In this process, while retinol is stripping away older cells, it also removes already young, healthy cells with. When mis or overused, this can cause long-term damage due to the exhaustion of your stem-cells pool, and raise skin inflammation levels. OS-01 is fundamentally different and was specifically designed to treat the root cause of skin aging, while retinol targets the symptoms. Instead of stripping your skin of all cells, OS-01 selectively targets the older and dysfunctional cells in the skin, without disturbing your young, healthy cells to keep your skin healthy. With this approach, OS-01 is more effective in improving your skin health long-term with no side-effects.   If you would like to combine your retinol products with OS-01, we suggest using retinol 2-3 times a week (at most) and applying OS-1 immediately after to  counteract any potential damage or side effect caused by retinoids.

    What is the shelf life of your topical supplement? How should it be stored?

    Our topical supplement has a shelf life of 16 months. OS-01 should be stored at room temperature and out of direct sunlight?

    Is your packaging recyclable?

    We are working diligently towards making our packaging 100% recyclable. Currently, once you have finished using our product, you can request a free shipping label to return the empty packaging to us. Also, we have partnered with Zero Carbon to offset our carbon footprint to zero! Stay tuned for more updates on our sustainability goals!

Science Behind Product

    What is skinspan?

    Skinspan refers to the length of time that your skin is healthy. Our mission is to extend your skinspan by optimizing skin health on a molecular level and increasing skin strength!

    How is your product different from a regular moisturizer?

    Our topical supplement contains a proprietary peptide, OS-01, that not only will nourish your skin, but it will also proactively extend your skin health on a molecular and external level.

    Why is OS-01 delivered topically?

    Topical delivery allows for our peptide to be applied to a specific area of skin to maximize penetration and efficacy. In the lab, we measure how OS-01 affects both the dermis and epidermis specifically. More importantly, ingestible supplements often degrade in stomach acid and therefore have no direct effect on the skin, but when applied topically there can be real (and measurable) effects.

    What current research are you working on?

    Due to competitive reasons, we cannot share the research we are currently working on.  When we finish our research, we will announce any findings and concluded studies in our marketing emails/newsletters.

    Is there any human data available on OS-01? Has it been published?

    While we haven’t published any of our clinical data in a scientific journal yet, we have completed a clinical study with 22 patients where we found significantly positive data that OS-01 can improve the skin barrier, texture, hydration, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. We also have an ongoing clinical study where we are looking at OS-01’s ability to reduce the skin’s biological age over 6 months time. We can’t wait to share the results!

Ingredients

    Is OS-01 fragrance free?

    Yes, OS-01 is fragrance free. Due to natural ingredients, you may pick up on their own fragrances, but there is no added fragrance to our product.

    Where is OS-01 Manufactured?

    OS-01 topical supplement is manufactured in California.

    Where do you source your ingredients for OS-01 from?

    We only use the highest quality ingredients available, which are sourced globally.

Product Usage

    How should I integrate OS-01 into my current skincare routine?

    At its core, our topical skin supplement is a moisturizer, so we recommend applying the product after cleansing and before applying a sunscreen. The good news is that our product has not been shown to have adverse reactions with other products, so you can safely incorporate it into your current routine without any additional changes.

    Is OS-01 safe to use while pregnant/breastfeeding?

    Our topical supplement is as safe and effective as can be. We have rigorously tested it’s safety on various skin types, however, we have not tested it on pregnant or breastfeeding individuals. Because of this, we recommend those who are pregnant or breastfeeding show our ingredients list to your doctor or health care provider to confirm before using.

    Can my child use OS-01?

    While OS-01 is safe to use, we recommend it for all adults over the age of 18.

Shipping

    Do you offer international shipping?

    Currently, we only ship to the US. We do have plans to expand our shipping internationally in the future.

    How long does shipping take?

    We estimate shipping will take about 5-7 days to arrive to you. Sometimes packages may arrive sooner than anticipated. Shipments will be delivered via UPS.

    Do you offer overnight or expedited shipping?

    Expedited shipping can be selected during the checkout process.* Unfortunately, we do not. All U.S packages ship with USPS, which usually takes 5-7 business days for delivery.

    How long do I have to update my shipping information after an order is placed?

    Once an order is placed, it will be processed within 30 minutes, making changes to the shipping address no longer possible. Due to this we cannot update a shipping address after it has been placed, please double-check all shipping information before placing an order.

    My package says it has been delivered, but I don’t have it.

    We encourage you to reach out to USPS and create a ticket with them using your tracking number or to your neighbors to inquire for more information.

    Once your package is marked as “delivered” by USPS or other shipping companies, OneSkin is no longer held responsible for any lost or stolen goods.  We do apologize, but OneSkin cannot be made liable for non-deliveries.

    What happens if my package is returned to sender due to a delivery error (wrong address, delivery complications, no access to location, etc.)

    For any “Return to Sender” packages or delivery issues with USPS, we will issue you a refund when your package is received in our warehouse. Sadly, we’re unable to reship packages once they leave our facility. Your tracking information will show you detailed info marked by USPS, and you may reach out to them for further information and try to intercept and schedule a pick up at your local office.

    Where can I view my tracking information?

    After you place an order, you will get an email from us confirming your order and the tracking information will be included in that email. You will also be able to view your tracking information right through your account on our website.

    My items broke during delivery, can I get a new one?

    We apologize for any issues that arose during the shipping process. Please reach out to our support team at support@oneskin.co with your product and pictures showing the damage that occurred through shipping. They will be able to help assess and either refund or send a new shipment out to you.

    My order status says unfulfilled, what does that mean?

    An unfulfilled status means your order has not yet been processed and packaged. You’ll be notified via email with tracking information as soon as a label is created in our system.

Refunds, Returns, Cancellations

    What is your refund policy?

    We are confident you will be more than satisfied with our product so much so that we offer a 30-day money back guarantee. What this means is, you can request a refund at any point within 30 days of purchasing the product and get your money back with no questions asked. That's how much we believe in our product!We do want to note, based on feedback, most customers state results around the 6 week mark of continued use.

    Do you offer price adjustments?

    While we do not offer price adjustment, we will periodically offer special promotions/discounts throughout the year. These will be announced via email when they are active.

    What is Afterpay?

    Afterpay is a payment option available on oneskin.co that will split your order total into four interest-free payment options that you pay over time. You will need to create an account with Afterpay, and your automatic payments will process every two weeks. 

    To select Afterpay at checkout, enter your shipping details and continue to payment info. If you’re logged into your account, you may need to remove your card to select Afterpay. 

    You will be redirected to Afterpay to complete your transaction.

    How do I cancel an order?

    Before you place your order, you can view the contents and the total amount in your shopping cart. Once your order has been placed, it is immediately sent to our fulfillment center to begin processing for order delivery. Due to this, we are unable to make any cancellations or changes to submitted orders, regardless of its current status.

    Can I make changes to my order once it's placed?

    Once an order is placed, a label is created shortly after. We do not have the ability to adjust or make changes to your order at this time.In the case an incorrect address is entered during the checkout process, we cannot guarantee that changes can be made. However, in the event that the package is sent back to us, we can offer a refund on the items.

    Do you offer OS-01 for wholesale distribution?

    We are not currently offering OS-01 for wholesale distribution. If you have any further questions about wholesale distribution you can reach out to our support team at support@oneskin.co.

    Do you have an affiliate program?
